Persevering and meticulous, Michelle believes no legal work is too small to receive less than the standard of excellence expected of a good counsel. She takes on tasks with the zealous belief that there is always something new to learn – an opportunity to deliver tailor-fit and innovative solutions for her clients.
A journey built on grit and grace, Michelle earned both her Legal Management and Juris Doctor degrees from San Beda University-Manila while being one of the University’s most decorated competitive debaters representing San Beda in various national and international tournaments and holding various debate Championships: ANC Square Off: The Firm Debates (2014 and 2016), Sinag Cup of the Philippine Inter-Collegiate Debating Championship (2014), Diokno Cup – Human Rights Debate Championships (2016), and the Optical Media Board – Great Intellectual Property Law Debates (2018), among others. Her interest in the craft is fueled by her belief that advocating for (humane and equitable) policies encourages actions that create meaningful change in the societal fabric.
Her involvement in the San Beda Legal Aid Bureau and the San Beda Law Journal has been instrumental to her advocacies of protecting women and children against violence, debate education, and making quality legal services more accessible in the Philippines.
Her collective experience ensures Michelle’s work is thorough, focused, and collaborative.
During her free time, Michelle is on the hunt for a quaint little café offering the next cup of great coffee and wandering around glorious beaches to get away from the bustle of the city.
